KZN TREASURY DEPLOYS RESOURCES TO IMPROVE ITS PERFOMANCE

KZN Treasury will deploy its resources strategically to respond directly to the needs of communities through enhanced support to departments, public entities and municipalities. Inspired by the State of the Nation andState of the Province addresses, the department’s strategic planning resolutions, and the Provincial Cabinet Lekgotla, the department has emphasised the need to ensure improved and impact-based performance in respect of its legislative role in the province. The Department continues to provide strategic and tangible support to provincial departments, municipalities and government entities. Clean and good governance remains the backbone of our quest to obtain clean audit outcomes at all government levels in this province.

MEC FOR FINANCE

Nomusa Dube-Ncube is the MEC for Finance in the Province of KwaZulu-Natal in charge of the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Treasury.

Carol became the CEO of the KZN Film Commission in October 2013 where she was required to set the strategic foundation and establish the systems, processes and polices in order for the business to begin operating from 1 February 2014.
